In this age of extreme commercialism, gone are the days where you opt to shell out a hefty amount for something that will last you long. Instead, you are encouraged to pay ridiculous amounts for something that will last you a year, maybe less, depending on how soon the newest model would be concocted from their far off, underpaid/manned factory. Sticking to your "old" yet still functioning machine is not encouraged and is frowned upon. Ask that guy sitting in the other table in "insert-preferred-coffee-chain-establishment's-name". Yes, that one fumbling with his newest "add-whatever-the-hell-they-said-was-new-or-better-that-you-absofuckinglutely-have-to-buy-it-on-the-pain-of-social-death" gadget. Ask to what extremes he had to go or what torture he had to endure for it. Well, self-inflicted of course. now ask yourself; Are you up to it? Do you want to jump on the same boat? Do you want that number to haunt you for the next, "append-number-of-months-or-years-it-would_take-you-to-pay-off-that-shit-from your-plastic"? Hmm,just a thought. Something that stirred my attention, looking at a billboard on a snowy winter afternoon whilst waiting for my tram...
